The State of Ohio is Recognized by the Digital States Survey
The State of Ohio was recognized with an “A” grade from the 2020 Center for Digital Government Digital States Survey results. Ohio was one of only five states to receive this special distinction. Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, and Utah also received top marks for their IT efforts.
According to the Center for Digital Government, an “A” grade “reflects a state that demonstrated very strong innovation, high performing solutions with verifiable impacts across all categories. Excellent practices have been applied in all aspects of their operations, governance and administration.”
Ohio was also recognized as one of the “Top 4” states for its exemplary work in Data Governance/Transparency. This category acknowledges states that are successfully using processes to ensure data quality, privacy protection, and the delivery of trusted data to all users who are authorized to access it.
This achievement aligns directly with the three core products of the InnovateOhio Platform’s Data and Analytics Pillar: Data Management, Data Integration, and Applied Analytics.
