Education Employee Positions and Demographics - Public

Three reports on the public education workforce provide information on employees reported by Ohio’s public education entities – public school districts, community schools (also known as charter schools), Joint Vocational School Districts, Educational Service Centers, STEM schools and state supported schools. The reports summarize data on the size, salaries, and demographics of teachers, administrators, and all other employees working in public education entities in Ohio. Users can view average and median salary data for each job category in schools, from superintendents to coaches, either in a specific school year, or as a visualization of the data across multiple years. A third report shows the demographics of employees, including race, gender and education level. In each of the reports, the data can be viewed for the state as a whole, or broken down by district or county, for any school year since 2005-2006, and by the specific job of interest.
